Jennifer Hodous is a Cleveland based make-up artist. Her life in makeup artistry evolved from a background in the fine-arts. Having studied at Ohio University with a fine arts focus in painting, she took that knowledge to the world of makeup. The face quickly became her favorite canvas as she developed her makeup style from her painting style; clean, fresh and slightly edgy. Jen began her makeup career in Chicago, IL with the AVEDA brandworking with an AVEDA Pure-fessional makeup artist on a number of runway shows and backstage at events. This experience opened the door to working with industry leader, MAC Cosmetics.

MAC took her from Chicago to Cleveland where she is still working with the brand, while at the same time developing a successful freelance business.  With an extensive wedding clientele and a growing beauty, commercial and editorial portfolio, she continues to learn and evolve her business.

Jennifer has been featured in publications such as Cleveland Magazine, J-style, and The Plain Dealer, and has worked on multiple national ad campaigns for DOTS.  Having always been influenced by the fashion and beauty industry, Jennifer has found her niche in the art community in the form of makeup artistry. Jennifer will continue to strive to make women and men feel amazing and transformed through the power of makeup.
